A typical school day

When we think politics, normally presidents, elections and campaigns come into mind. However, when people tell me politics, the first thought to come into my mind is gossipping teachers, vicious rumours and backstabbing 'best friends'. Now I'm not saying that this is the case with all people...it just happens to be the case in the school that I go to.

Lecture 1:- Backstabbing Best Friends
There was a time when things were normal and best friends meant you stuck by the other person no matter what. But as 2-3 years passed, I noticed that the people who had called themselves best friends when I first met them , were bitching about each other any chance they got. One is absent and immediately they start..."Can you believe it! She prefers them over us! How can she do that when we've known her longer???" WHAT if "she" has decided to branch out...DOES IT MATTER????? If "she" has decided to branch out, LET HER! It's normal to have more than one group of friends! Is it just me or does it bother others when they are friends for a long time but enemies the moment one is absent for a day at school?

Lecture 2:- Gossipping Teachers
"Teacher's are there to enlighten you and prepare you for your life ahead." If this is all a teacher is supposed to do...then why does it matter if a girl and a guy were seen together? Or if a group of girls bonded better with each other than the rest of the class. Why would-or rather should- it matter to them if one girl has a wild imagination provided she's paying attention in class. I overheard a discussion today between two teachers about how the kids in their class have horrid personalities and how it was all because of one kid who came from USA. But the thing is, the transfer student was a bright student and quite lovable. So why was he being blamed for others' problems?? Why do teachers gossip about students and then....other teachers...why are they such busy bodies??

Lecture 3:- Rumours and Different people
Why do rumours exist? Sure humans are naturally curious but why do they honestly exist? Some people feed on the rumours and others die socially because of them. And most rumours occur because you are different. YOU don't look like other or act like them....or maybe like the same stuff as them. I know it's happened to me before. I don't listen to the same music as most of my school's population, I definitely don't think like them and unlike them, trying vodka shots and cigarette's don't appeal to me. Because of this, I'm weird, unnatural and ignored. No one-save maybe 4-5 people-has tried to befriend me in the past 3 years I've been here.

All of this...backstabbing, rumors and gossiping happens in one day between 10 lectures and hardly any studies. This kinda makes me wish I went to a school were studies were given priority.
 Ciao for now~

Welcome

Hi! I should probably clear somethings first:
1. I am a teenager prone to rants and epic randomness so if one post doesn't click with the next, don't be surprised.
2. I'm not as depressing as my About Me sounds. I can have fun and I love to talk with people. It just seems that I'm stuck in a particularly tough place.

Alright! Cleared everything I thought You might be surprised to find. I'll mostly be posting here once a day maybe once a week if my school catches up to me. My posts can be anything from rants to random thoughts that have been bothering me so don't be surprised if one entry only has 1-3 lines. It just means my brain was most likely fried that day and with a heavy 11th grade syllabus (Economics should be buried 6 feet under and never resurrected), my brain is fried half the time. Enjoy reading the day-to-day life of an aspiring writer who's a little lost and confused.
